Kovalam Beach

Kovalam : India's most spectacular beach resort, Kovalam is a sheltered natural bay and consists of three adjacent crescent beaches. The crescent-shaped beaches of Kovalam can be divided in three parts. The southern most beach, and the most popular, is the Lighthouse Beach. Further south on the beach one can have a spectacular view of the Vizhinzam mosque. This internationally renowned beach resort has been a favourite hunt of tourist since 1930. A massive rocky promontory on the beach has created a beautiful bay of calm waters ideal for sea bathing.

Varkala Beach

Varkala : Situated about 48 kms. away from Trivandrum, Varkala is a seaside resort and spa. It is also an important Hindu centre of pilgrimage. It was here at Sivagiri Mutt, that Sree Narayana Guru, Kerala's illustrious social reformer, attained samadhi. The unique cliff tops provide a sweeping view of the fantastic seascape below. Varkala's narrow and rocky beach attracts hordes of visitors with its natural hot water springs clustered around.

Alleppey : Alleppey, known as the Venice of the East, is a place of immense natural beauty. By virtue of its proximity to the sea, Alleppey has always enjoyed a unique place in the maritime history of Kerala. It has a long sandy and spectacular beach. At one end of the beach are the dense palm groves that are so characteristic of Kerala's landscape.

Lakshadweep

Lakshadweep Island : Lakshadweep one of the world's most spectacular tropical island systems is situated 220 - 440 kms.off the Malabar coast. An interesting feature of the landscape is the sprawling rock that protrudes into the sea. With plenty of sun and sea, and a lavish dash of history, Kappad is quite an irresistible fare for the beach lovers.

Muzhappilangad Beach

Muzhappilangad Beach : Kerala's only drive-in Beach where you can drive down the entire length of 4 k.m. Black rocks protect this long, clean beach from the currents of the deep, making its shallow water a swimmer's paradise.

Cherai Beach : The Cherai Beach lies 25 kilometers north of Vypeen, an island suburb of Cochin. This is an ideal beach for swimming. Dolphins are occasionally seen here. A typical Kerala village with paddy fields and coconut groves nearby is an added attraction.
